On October 9, elementary students from across schools in the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County competed at the annual cross country meet at the Ken Reid Conservation Area.
Throughout the day, students ran in ten races by division: primary (1 km), junior (2 km), intermediate (3 km), senior (3 km), and a victory race (1 km). New this year was an “In it to Wynn It Race”, which was a 1km race for students with a physical disability.
A special thank you to the high school runners, coaches, and community volunteers who helped out with a number of different jobs throughout the day. Here are the results from each division:
