Jump Rope for Heart Fundraiser and Event Day

We are excited to announce that our Huskies will be participating in the Jump Rope for Heart Fundraiser hosted by the Heart and Stroke Foundation.   We had our kick-off assembly on Friday, May 20th.  Students learned about the value of giving their time to fundraise, the warning signs of stroke (FAST) and EASY ways to build healthy habits into your lifestyle.   ALL fundraising is online this year.  It is a simple process to sign your student up.  Follow the link to our Dr George Hall page to sign your child up:

Students will have the chance to win some fun prizes as they support this worthwhile charity.  The Heart and Stroke Foundation also gives back to our school and we get 10% of net fundraising dollars back to use for student initiatives.  All students will participate in the event day, regardless of fundraising, because we want to get all of our students and staff moving and practicing healthy habit    ‘A’  being ACTIVE!  We hope that you are able to join us as we support the Heart and Stroke Foundation through the Jump Rope for Heart initiative.

Our DGH Jump Rope Event Day is Wednesday, June 15th.

Thanks for your Support!
