Students in Mr. Fournier’s (both grade 3s and 4s), Ms. Anckaert’s, Ms. Phendler’s, Mrs. Burns’, Ms. Prins’, Ms. Graham’s, Ms. Elliot’s and Mrs. Read’s classes will be headed off to see the movie “Wonder” on Thursday, November 23.  Over the past month, classes have been discussing the message behind Wonder.  The movie is based on the book by R.J. Palacio.  It’s message is about not judging a book by its cover and accepting all for who they are.  The main character, who is a ten-year old boy, has severe facial abnormalities and the book describes his and others’ points of view.  Its message is an important one and one that should resonate for all of us.
