Thank you to the students who emceed and performed in our DGH Remembrance Day Assembly, held last Friday.  Amy L and Maddy R did an outstanding job emceeing this assembly, setting the right tone for this most solemn day of remembrance.  Thank you to Charleigh W and Tara C for singing while two students from each class laid their wreath; thanks also go to Kyla P for her reading of In Flanders Fields.  Maia H, Nicole H, Mackenzie M, Riley G and Aaliyah, all members of the band club, performed O’ Canada.  Finally, thank you to Mrs. McGregor’s/Ms. Wilson’s and Ms. Arscott’s/Ms. Horton’s Kindergarten classes for singing “Peace In My Fingers”.  Performing in front of almost 400 people (many of them adults, no less) is not easy.
