With the nice weather we have seen bicycles and skateboards arriving
at school. Skateboards are not to be used on school property. If
students are bringing them on the bus, the bus company requires that
the skateboard must be in a bag or safely secured. Many backpacks
have straps for this purpose. Simply hanging on to the skateboard is
not acceptable. Students riding their bikes to school MUST be wearing
a helmet in order to abide by the law. With the nice weather, many
students like to go downtown for lunch. When students have permission
to go downtown, they are reminded that any food or drinks bought in
Little Britain must be consumed before returning to the school property.
Students must have their nutrition break and return directly to school.
They should not be in other areas of the village such as the Community Centre,
ball diamond, forest areas or at any homes in the community.
