Welcome to all new and returning Dr. George Hall students, staff and families!  The 2009 – 2010 school year is off to a great start.

DGH is a JK to Grade 8 school with a population of approximately 409 students.  Leading the way in TLDSB in the area of technology, each of our classrooms is equipped with a Smartboard and we are proud to have two laptop carts and a computer lab. Our students are well prepared for this technology oriented world.

At DGH, we strive to ensure that each student has a well-rounded education that balances academics, athletics, and the arts.  Our motto, “Learning Together” speaks to our belief in teamwork.  It is through close partnerships between school, home and community that we can achieve our goal of seeing each child be the best that they can be academically, socially and emotionally.

We have a very active Parent Advisory Council.  Due to their hard work, we are currently enjoying a new track and soccer field that was built on adjoining city property, in partnership with The DGH Parent Advisory Council, The City of Kawartha Lakes, The Oakwood Lions Club and The Trillium Foundation.  This new facility is a wonderful addition to our athletic programs and our teams have already appreciated having a great place to train for upcoming tournaments.
